For those of you interested, I have now received the signed+framed Jenson Button undershirt that he wore at the 2010 British grand prix. It is pretty awesome!

Certificate of Authenticity:

The huge package!:

The item itself:

Unfortunately the idiots delivering it seem to have damaged it a little, I saw a whole in the packaging (see below) and this seems to have lead to a small crack in the plastic front underlay. I have notified McLaren to see what they suggest, but all in all im overwhelmed with how it looks and how big it is!

Shame about the damage, but overall it's very cool! I'm quite jealous as a big JB fan devil.

Great. When are you going to wear it?wink

That damage looks as if it was clumsily put down on a sharpish object. Bit of a shame but the delivery company should be insured against this type of damage, and it's an item of considerable value. - Contact them!

Well done tranquility. who's a lucky boy then, hope they sort out the damage for you, looks like the packaging should have been stronger.  Just thought I'd mention (again) that I met Jenson and Lewis at Silverstone this year, they were brilliant with everybody, a credit to us all.
(don't sell the shirt)

I've changed my mind I want it not enough to pay 700 quid but I've just signed up to support the local air ambulance service in the form of a weekly lottery I could win a thousand I'll let you know lol

I'm actually taking a trip down to Northamptonshire tomorrow, to take it back to the company who McLaren contracted to frame it so that they can fix the damage. As soon as I got hold of McLaren they put me through to the director of Marketing and he was really apologetic and has ensured it will get fixed and that my expenses will be paid for.

Excellent. Let it never be said that your anal retentive attention to detail never yielded positive results.

That's another fave quote, btw. wink

Hahaha! What a wit! I'm so pleased you joined us genji.

: I'm very pleased to hear that you're getting it fixed. I did not want to say before but it did catch my eye immediately. (I thought someone had drawn or otherwise marked it near the armpit, but then noticed that the marks extended beyond the shirt, so it was obviously the 'glass' (or perspex).

Very pleased you're getting it fixed. Excellent news!
